Materials Required:
- Plan T-Shirt
- Transfer Paints
- Design Template
- Ironing Paper/Parchment Paper
Procedure:
- Choose a design.
- Place plastic over your design.
- Squeeze transfer paints on your design. Shake your tube/bottle well, before starting. Work with one colour each time, letting each dry for 30 minutes before adding next.
- If your design has outline, paint that first and let it dry before filling colour.
- Once your design is completely covered with paints, wait for 24 hrs or till its completely dry.
- Peel the transfer off the plastic, being careful not to tear it. Don’t the shiny side fold back on itself. Pull them apart if they do, right away.
- Preheat a dry iron on the cotton setting. Iron the corner of the fabric, to ensure its not too hot.
- On the ironing board, place the transfer over your t-shirt, laying shiny side down.
- Cover it completely with iron paper. Iron slowly back and forth over the sheet for 20 seconds.
- Let the transfer cool, and then remove the ironing paper. Check the edges of the transfer are well attached. If not, place iron paper and iron edges again.
